How it works: Bikehangars

Fill in the application form with your details
If the space is full, you can apply to the waiting list
You can apply to as many waiting lists as you want
If there are no spaces available near you, click 'Suggest a Location' to tell us where you want a cycle parking space

If a space is available, our team will contact you within 48 hours to offer you the space
They will send you instructions on how to pay for your space and will send you a key in the post once your payment is received
Our team will only be in touch when a space becomes available
Please note that some of our waiting lists are very long and it may be some time before we get in touch, but rest assured, we will contact you!

£72 per year plus a refundable key deposit of £25
Cost is cheaper if subsidised by the council
Accessible by key
Members are allocated a specific space, each marked by letters A-F. Please stick to your space.
1 space per person (in the event of a subscriber paying for more than 2 spaces, they will be automatically refunded, minus the transaction fees)
Spaces allocated on first come first serve basis
On the rare occasion that your bike might not fit, you have 14 days to return the keys for a full refund
Not recommended for cargo bikes and child seats
Check your bike fits the allowable bike dimensions: (H) 1200mm x (L) 1800mm x (W) 750mm with tyres up to 59mm width (please note, these dimensions are estimations and are dependent on the installation site and the other users in the Bikehangar)

Please put your key(s) in a padded envelope and include this downloadable Key Return Form.
Should you prefer, you can also complete an online Request to Cancel Form.

Once your keys are received and processed we will cancel your subscription and refund your deposit
Cyclehoop are not responsible for keys that have been lost in the post. To ensure they arrive safely, we recommend posting them by recorded delivery.
If payment is taken before the account is cancelled, Cyclehoop will refund the full amount as long as the cancellation is within the subscription year, with a grace period of 1 week after the renewal date.
If you do not return the key to us or if you pass the key to another person, you will automatically forfeit your key deposit and no monies will be returned to you.

In the event of losing your key, please contact us immediately or log a case in your account
Replacement keys cost £25 for a Bikehangar
Keys must be paid for in advance
Keys have a lead time of three working weeks
Keys will be posted to your postal address on your account
You cannot use your original key deposit to cover the cost of your replacement key
Passing your keys on to another resident is a violation of our terms and conditions. This discredits our fair waiting list system as well as putting the safety of other users at risk. Failure to comply with this rule will result in immediate cancellation of the subscription as well as a lifetime ban from using the service.

If you see any serious damage to the unit please report it immediately by calling 0208 699 1338 or completing the Report a Maintenance Issue Form

As per our Cycle Theft Policy, your bike is left at your own risk. Cyclehoop and the council are not responsible for the loss, damage and theft of bicycles, locks or other items stored in the units.

Cyclehoop partner with Bikmo, a specialist bike insurance provider. Bikmo recognise Bikehangars as a suitable long-term cycle parking option for people living nearby.
Cyclehoop customers can get a 10% discount on their bike insurance. You can find details of how to claim this discount on your welcome email. Please get in touch with the team if you can't find this.

The units are purchased by the council, who decide where they are to be installed in the area. Cyclehoop is a supplier, and we advise on where they could be installed, but the final decision on locations is made by the council.
